One of the most difficult things about coming to church is knowing what to expect. At Good Shepherd, we want you to feel comfortable and welcomed. As you join us this weekend, you have nothing to fear. Instead, we want you to be able to come right in, join us in worship, and learn about the God of all Creation along with us. It doesn’t matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to provide you with a clear direction forward.

What do I need to wear?

There is no reason to be fancy here. Most of the men wear blue jeans. Some of the women do as well, others wear dresses. We don’t want your clothing to hinder you from coming. We just ask that you be comfortable and respectable.

What's the music like?

Our church uses a worship style of traditional, southern gospel, and some contemporary Christian music. Our desire is that the music and the message work together to bring all glory to God.

What do you have to offer my children?

During the school year, we have GSBC Kids on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 PM. Your children will enjoy learning the Bible and playing fun games. Your older children will also feel comfortable in the youth group. They meet every Sunday Morning at 9, Sunday evenings at 6, and Wednesday evenings at 6. What version of the Bible do you use?

The pastor uses the New King James Version, but others enjoy various other versions.
