Come Fellowship With Us!

There are a variety of ministry opportunities here for whatever stage of life you happen to be in. There is a place for you here at Good Shepherd, and we would love the opportunity to get to know you better.

Sunday School

We have a range of Sunday School classes for all ages here at Good Shepherd. These classes meet every Sunday morning from 9 am to 10 am to study the Bible, pray, and fellowship together. We invite everyone to come and experience the Word of God with us. If you would like to know more about our Sunday School program and what Bible study might be right for you, please email us on our contact page and we’ll help you find a place to fit in.

Our church uses a worship style of traditional, southern gospel, and some contemporary Christian music. We have a pianist, two guitarists, a bass player, and a percussionist. Our desire is that the music and the message work together to bring all glory to God.

We have a full youth program for grades 7-12 that includes Sunday morning Bible study in Sunday School, and Wednesday evening youth worship which meets at 6 p.m. We also have frequent fun events and ministry opportunities as well. If you would like to know more, please email us from our contact page and we’ll get you more information.

Children's Church & Nursery

We have Children’s Church (3 years through kindergarten) and nursery care (newborn through 2 years) available during our morning worship services to better meet the needs of your kids. We use the Worship for Life curriculum to help the kids learn the Bible and experience worship at their level. We also have nursery care and other children’s programs during our evening services so everyone can receive the Word of God in a way that is appropriate to their age, and parents can be free to worship and focus on the Lord every Sunday.

Mission Friends, GA's, and RA's

These programs are exciting and fun-filled mission’s education organizations for boys and girls ages 3 years – 6th grade. Our program is just one of the mission’s education organizations offered by Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). WMU provides a full line of resources for Mission Friends, GAs, and RA’s organizations. Through the program, boys and girls gain a greater understanding of God’s work in the world and how they can join Him in His work.

Mission Friends, GA’s, and RA’s learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God’s Son, Jesus.
